We’re up and running! Thanks to everyone who packed the room for the first Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy event. The day was a great chance to bring together leaders from across New Hampshire and the US.

Special thanks to Former NH House Speaker Terie Norelli for moderating an illuminating discussion with Jeff McLynch from New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute and Jocelyn Frye from the Center for American Progress.
Jeff shared insight into the current state of New Hampshire, “NH has lowest poverty rate in the nation, but it’s still 9.2%. We can and should do better.” While Jocelyn talked through the current exorbitant cost of child care, and how a proposed child care tax credit could save a New Hampshire family earning $40,000 per year up to $8,701 annually.
Thanks as well to Christina D’Allesandro of MomsRising for her participation.
