Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy PAC and Priorities USA Action Launched Digital Ads in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin to Show How Harris Will Fight for Working Families
Washington, DC – Today, the Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy PAC (CFFE PAC) and Priorities USA Action launched a new digital ad campaign highlighting Vice President Kamala Harris’ dedication to ensuring American families have access to affordable, high-quality child care and paid family leave. The five-figure campaign targets voters in the battleground states of Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and features Chelsea, a young mother of two raising her family in Wisconsin. Chelsea states “we pay more for child care than we do for housing,” underscoring the urgency of the child care crisis in America.

“Stories like Chelsea’s are all too common, and CFFE PAC’s canvassers are hearing about these kinds of challenges from voters every single day in the states that will determine the outcome of this election,” said Sondra Goldschein, Executive Director of CFFE PAC. “The exorbitant cost of child care is a crisis that must be solved so that Chelsea and millions of other American families can not only get by, but contribute to the economy. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz understand that an investment in working families is really an investment in our nation’s economy and that when we uplift parents and caregivers, we uplift all Americans.”
While Democrats up and down the ballot are fighting for families like Chelsea’s, the extremist Republican Party remains wildly out of touch with the needs of everyday Americans. While claiming to be pro-family, Donald Trump and JD Vance continue to push for dangerous and unpopular policies that favor billionaires and corporations at the expense of the middle-class. CFFE PAC and Priorities USA Action’s new ad campaign will make clear to voters that Democrats are the party that has working families’ backs.
“Vice President Kamala Harris has made clear that building up the middle class will be a defining goal of her presidency – and just as we heard during the Democratic National Convention, that starts with her dedication to ensuring American families have access to affordable, high quality child care and paid family leave,” said Danielle Butterfield, Executive Director, Priorities USA Action. “We have been working to perfect our digital strategy at Priorities in order to reach, persuade and mobilize every voter online. Our strong partnership with CFFE has set us up to deliver and execute on innovative digital strategies that will deliver a victory for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz this fall.”
This ad buy is part of CFFE PAC’s $40 million electoral program in support of candidates who champion policies that address the high cost of care like affordable child care and elder care, paid family leave, and lowering prescription drug prices. In addition to paid advertising, CFFE PAC canvassers are talking directly to voters in must-win states about Democratic candidates like Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, as well as Senators Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin and Bob Casey in Pennsylvania, who are dedicated to tackling the kitchen table issues top of mind for voters this November.
