CFFE PAC Has Knocked One Million Voters’ Doors in Battleground States, Will Knock Two Million More Before Election Day

Over Labor Day Weekend, Canvassers Reached Major Milestone in PAC’s Historic $40M Electoral Program to Elect Kamala Harris and Democrats in Battleground States

WASHINGTON Over Labor Day Weekend, the Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy PAC (CFFE PAC) hit a major milestone as its canvassers passed the one million mark for voters’ doors knocked in the battleground states that will determine the election in November. One of the largest field operations reaching out to voters across battleground states, CFFE PAC plans to knock another million voters’ doors each in September and October, culminating in a field operation that will have knocked more than three million voters’ doors by Election Day. CFFE PAC’s Executive Director Sondra Goldschein released the following statement on this achievement:

“From Philadelphia, to Detroit, to Milwaukee, to Atlanta and beyond, voters continue to tell us that the high cost of living is top of mind and they want candidates who prioritize family budgets over extremist agendas. And when it comes to which candidates will actually work to lower costs – especially the high cost of caregiving – the contrast could not be starker. Our canvassers are working in overdrive to ensure that voters know that Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and Democrats have their backs, while Donald Trump, JD Vance, and Republicans are too busy ripping away women’s reproductive freedom to be bothered to address working families’ budgets. As we enter the final two months before Election Day, our field team will double down to help elect a Democratic trifecta and send extremists packing.

Knocking on one million voters’ doors at this point in the campaign speaks to the dedication of our incredible team of canvassers and the momentum behind the Harris-Walz ticket, which has made issues like paid leave, affordable child care, and lowering the cost of prescription drugs a centerpiece of their campaign.”

CFFE PAC announced its largest-ever electoral program in February (see New York Times story here) and since launch its canvassers have been leveraging the power of face-to-face conversations with voters, focusing on the issues that unite Americans regardless of party – the high cost of caregiving. The historic $40 million electoral effort is focused on Georgia, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, and Montana and aims to turn out votes for Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and Democrats who champion cost-lowering policies like paid leave, affordable child care, and prescription drug costs.

The Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy PAC (CFFE PAC) is fighting for a future where all people can afford to care for themselves and their loved ones. In 2022, CFFE PAC ran a $13.5 million program communicating with voters about where candidates stand on policies that lower the cost of prescription drugs, ensure paid family and medical leave, and provide affordable elder and child care. In 2020, CFFE PAC spent almost $18 million on a program in support of Joe Biden and U.S. Senate candidates that spanned Wisconsin, Michigan, Maine, Iowa, Montana, Virginia, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Florida and Georgia.
