WASHINGTON – Today, the Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy PAC (CFFE PAC) launched a million-dollar TV advertising campaign spotlighting Republican Senate candidate Nella Domenici’s dangerous political agenda when it comes to abortion and women’s health care issues.
This new ad is airing statewide beginning today. It is part of CFFE PAC’s commitment to protecting the Senate and delivering a Democratic trifecta that will pass policies focusing on protecting access to abortion and lowering costs for all New Mexicans.
“Martin Heinrich is a champion for New Mexico’s working families and has a strong record of supporting policies to lower the cost of child care, elder care and prescription drugs,” said Sondra Goldschein, Executive Director of CFFE PAC. “We can count on Senator Heinrich to do everything in his power to fight against the national abortion ban that Donald Trump and Senate Republicans will try to put in place. Nella Domenici, on the other hand, will ultimately be beholden to the MAGA extremists who recruited her to run for the Senate and fall in line with their dangerous agenda that will deprive millions of women in New Mexico and across the country of their reproductive freedom.”
In New Mexico, Senator Heinrich has a long record of supporting access to abortion and voting in favor of legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs and ensure quality, affordable health care. Heinrich has voted yes on a number of policies that provide relief for working parents and child care providers, including the Inflation Reduction Act and the American Rescue Plan Act.
In contrast, his opponent Nella Domenici has aligned herself with Republican party leaders who embrace Project 2025, paved the way for the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and support a national abortion ban.
This endorsement comes as part of CFFE PAC’s 2024 electoral program and its historic $40 million effort to drive votes for Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and Democratic candidates this cycle.
CFFE PAC is one of the country’s largest independent field operations talking to voters in battleground states this election cycle. The campaign is running robust door-to-door field and relational organizing programs, paid advertising, and direct mail to elect candidates who champion policies that prioritize family budgets – including paid leave, quality, affordable child and elder care, and affordable prescription drugs – over Republican extremist agendas that hurt families and make it difficult to get by and impossible to get ahead.
