This is excellent. The Department of Labor awarded a limited number of grants to states across the country to research family leave, and New Hampshire was one of the recipients. Specifically, New Hampshire was awarded a $175,000+ grant.
The money is earmarked for New Hampshire Employment Security, who will use it to do a deep dive into the impact of a paid leave insurance program in the Granite State. It’s great to see the DoL investing in this kind of analysis, and we’re pleased that New Hampshire is a beneficiary.
